Vesrah Suzuki Offroad team update

As the GNCC series looks to crank back up, the Vesrah Suzuki Offroad team is gearing up to be part of the circus again.  Scott and Joe have both spent a ton of time training and prepping the travel rig, the bikes and the gear.

The team took on the GNCC series from the start and has not really looked back.  The adventure of doing the series, trying to up the pace and race at the front of their respective groups, learn the culture of the GNCC series and experience racing a different kind of racing has all been a fantastic experience.  The break in the GNCC series allowed the team to regroup and determine what it needed to do to be an even larger factor in the second part of the season.

When the season went into break after the first half, the team was getting itself acquainted with GNCC racing.   Scott found himself in the top 5 of his class after Big Buck, but unfortunately fell and hurt his wrist there.  Scott is completely healed up and looking to show some top 5 results again.  You will recall that Joe had a difficult start to the season, for various reasons.  Nonetheless, by the time Big Buck and Loretta’s came along he was getting into the top 10 in his class.  His knee reconstruction is well in the past now, and his confidence is much higher.

The break has provided time for the team to focus on their fitness by racing mountain bikes and road bicycles.  But, now it is time for the GNCC circus to start up again, for the team to get back on the road, for the 10 second warning and for the green flag to go up on GNCC racing.

The teams website and blog site continue to get a lot of traffic.  We are hearing from people all over the country that are following our stories.

We continue to owe a huge amount of thanks to Mark and Nancy at Vesrah/Suzuki.  They have been unbelievably supportive of our efforts to race locally and the GNCC series.  All of our sponsors have been super and we just cannot say enough good things about them and the products they have offered us.  They are all great people and we truly love their stuff.

Who We Are!

We are Joe Vadeboncoeur and Scott Daubert, your everyday off-road motorcycle fanatics. We live in southern Wisconsin and compete in the District 16 hare scrambles series.

We hatched a plan to do the entire 2008 Grand National Cross Country Racing Series .

Our plan is to compete in the 2008 GNCC series for the experience of doing a national calendar of races. If we are in the running for the overall titles that will be a bonus but our interest from the beginning has been to do a nationally recognized series.

WE ARE GOING GNCC RACING!
